in Nanjing

Nanjing is the capital of the
Jiangsu Province and lies on the south bank of the Yangtze
River. In China's long history Nanjing was known as the capital
City of Six or Ten Dynasties.
It is a city teeming with culture
and history - one of its most famous sights is The Confucius
Temple which is surrounded by a bustling area of shops
and restaurants housed within buildings of traditional Chinese
architecture.
Another tourist must see is
the Nanjing Museum - this is home to over 400,000 pieces
including around 2,000 rare artifacts.
Although steeped in culture
and history Nanjing is a thriving developing metropolis with
excellent road links to other major cities in China.
It's shopping malls - skyscrapers
and luxury hotels put it on a par with Beijing and Shanghai
- you can find many well-known brand names within the commercial
part of the city - easily reached by use of the excellent
transport links found within the city itself.
The average temperatures in
Nanjing range from 28 degrees Fahrenheit in January to 92
degrees Fahreheit in August.
Due to the large number of Universities
and Colleges throughout Nanjing teachers and students of
all races and nationalities are welcomed - the people of
China are amongst the friendliest in the World - people are
keen to swap cultures and knowledge with the Western World.
