I've started teaching with the staff which is going really well. It took a few days to really get my bearings with regards to lesson structure but now it's fantastic.

A lot of repetition is the key, coupled with syllabic pronunciation and all that jazz. I've read a couple of books, watched some movies and done a fair bit of relaxing.

I've also started playing table-tennis with the locals which is really fun. I bought myself a paddle yesterday so I won't have to borrow any of theirs anymore.

I found some Chinese "Stout Beer" which is nothing like the almighty G but, at least, it's a step in the right direction.

So yes. It's lovely. It's hot. It's beautiful. I love it. But you know all that already...
